Sonia Lenzmeier, M.D.
Dr. Sonia Lenzmeier is a Board-Certified, female Family Physician as well as a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Raised in Scottsdale, AZ, she graduated from Horizon High School. She received her Bachelor and Medical degrees from the University of Arizona. She graduated from Medical School in 1995 and did an Internship and Residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital.
From January 2001 to November 2010, she was on staff at the prestigious Mayo Clinic Arizona as an Attending physician. At that time, Dr. Lenzmeier was involved in training medical students, student nurse practitioners, and resident physicians in the valley.
"I enjoy the variety of patients I help as a Family Practitioner," states Dr. Lenzmeier. "It is quite the privilege to know all the members of a family."
Her interests include women's health, school-age medicine, and diabetes. When not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her family, including triplets born in 2003, her siblings, and parents who live in town. She also enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, and watching films.
