Dr. Ron Hooley was born and raised in rural west central Ohio where his father practiced as a “small town” physician. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Natural Science at Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  In 1984, he relocated to Phoenix for residency training in family practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Since then, Dr. Hooley has practiced in various locations in the west and northwest valley. Many of his patients have described him as “Incredibly thorough” and “Caring.” Dr. Hooley has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine on several occasions as a “Top Doc.” He enjoys the wide spectrum of family medicine with a special interest in adult medicine and preventive care. He is board certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.

 

When not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also enjoys playing tennis, hiking, reading, traveling, working in his backyard, and cheering on his Buckeyes.
